My 84 700 sit for two years. It starts pretty easy without choke and just a slight throttle crack. If it doesn't start in the first few seconds it floods bad and won't start til the bowels are drained. It won't start on choke at all. It don't really idol well but runs fine as long as you give it a little gas. When I try to take off the bike stalls out and has no power. If i do get took off it has no power it took about 300 feet at wot in 1st gear to hit 15 or so mph. IT Sounds terrible like a flood or miss. It has new ngks and new fuel filter. It has had a whole can of seafoam and carb spray through. it. I let it sit over night in the carb even. When I drain the carbs the cleaner is as clear as water.

    thanks

Problem sounds alot like leaky float needles + clogged idle jets. Sitting that long, fuel tank should be drained and flushed and checked for signs of rust before allowing any fuel into carbs.
