Carb swap for different years

Hey Guys, Need carbs. Any difference in carbs from 86 to 90-97? look the same to me and has anyone tryed swaps

 

Not the same crabs bro, different carbs on 4th gen compared to 3th gen.

the 3rd and 4th gens will swap. but thats as far as I know. Definitely none of the carbs will fit on the 6th gen... :tongue-new:

 

The bell-crank pulley on 2nd gen comes off the end of carb #2. This is the same on 4th gen, but 3rd gen comes off of carb #1 and needs a longer throttle cable.

 

Wrong sizes. Wrong diameter, wrong spacing. No other carbs work on an '86 except '87s.
