OK '92 750......at times, it seems more obvious the warmer the engine gets, when the throttle is quickly blipped there will be a slight back fire through the carbs. Not sure if it is just a slightly en richened mixture or what the root cause is. Any thoughts?
I'm guessing the backfire is on the downward swing of the rpms. This is very common on the Mid-80's V-4's as the EPA makes the factory tune them lean. Solution is to richen up the mixture. Not sure about your bike, but on the 80's V-4's the solution was to unscrew the pilot jets 1/2 to 1 turn.
