Carb Balance.

    Could you live with the settings in the picture ?

    I've messed about for around 1 hour and the more I fiddle with the adjustment screw the settings all end up out of sync, so I got them best as I could I think they might be ok.

    Please could somebody advise as I've still got the gauges set up and if I need to mess about anymore today then it saves me putting the covers back on and tools away.

    That looks pretty good. I use mercury sticks myself...a little easier to read. You'll probably see a slight change every time the throttle shaft comes to rest at idle, that's normal.

    I know what you mean m8, there is slightly different readings but I think overall this is the best I could get them set up :smile:

    That will do for me dizzy, I'll fasten everything up and take her for a test run, thanks pal for the reply :wink:

    b4 checking synch it's a good idea to check valve clearance and compression.....

    your readings (nice photo) look quite acceptable.

    Yeah that's a job I want to do when we get our Winter over with and then check the Valves.

    I think though at the moment I've got some of the main jobs done since I bought the old Girl :wink:
