AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH Welcome To California!! http://vfrworld.com/photos/data/500/thumbs/DSCF0183.JPG All right, this whole posting pictures thing is beyond me. I am on my VFR in 8" of snow.
Wonder if anybody's ever converted a VFR to an ice-racer? On purpose, that is... For the most part, how do you like Susanville? I've ridden through a few times in late spring, so it looked a bit different.
Crazy huh? I need to look up where you're at. Snow huh LOL I feel your pain, as it's 32 and raining here, go figure.
Drewl, I feel for ya buddy! My sister lives up in Paradise, and she sent me a no. of photos with all the snow on the ground. Looks like they had 6-8 inches of snow. It's been snowing down here too, at modest elevations, Mt. Diablo, Mt. St. Helena, and I am sure on Mt. Hamilton. I heard reports of snow on Hwy 17 going over to Santa Cruz earlier this week. It's been sucky down here all week as well. At least it will clear up next week! Cheers, PC
Shasta has like 130" of snow. I don't know the numbers for Lassen. It has snowed every single day for two solid weeks now. It may clear in a couple of days. I am actually looking forward to 40 degrees. If the streets dry enough I'll get her out and run her around a bit. RVFR, I am 83 miles nw of Reno and 106 miles east of Redding. Elevation 4200'.
eooo okay that explains it. been snowing like crazy up here in thy hills setting all sorts of records. Now down here at sea level it's been hit and miss was raining and 32 degrees now it is snow rain mix and 34.
My neck of the woods gets about 90" of annual rainfall, but Mother Nature is USUALLY kind enough to spread it out over five months. I don't even want to know how much we've had so far. At least I remember what I don't miss about Oregon.
