(I meant "parts" selections- sorry, fairly hammered) I'd like to do a valve adjustment on my 'new' 84 interceptor. I'd also like to get new gaskets and bolt seals but the gaskets have two part numbers. I assume one supersedes the other. Which should I order? Honda Motorcycle Parts 1984 VF700F A CYLINDER HEAD COVER Diagram #5 looks like a seal I should replace but what about #4? Is there a better source than "Partzilla"? One last thing, I keep running into "VF700F A" and "VF700F AC". How do I know whether I have an "A" or an "AC"? Thanks for any help, Rob
One just supersedes the other. Those gaskets never really go bad. It's the rubber mounting washer (#5) that normally need to be replace. Or put a thin washer on top of them for more tension.
