I cant really bitch about the price of gas, I dont go anywhere but work, and my boss pays for that. Though I am currently driving 3-4 hrs a day into jersey from east of Philly, dont get me started about city driving though, and all the idiots that cant freakin read traffic signs until they got trffic to a crawl on I95 at 2:30 in the afternoon. AYE YAE YAE!!!, Sorry D. I needed to vent that frustration...... :focus:

Years of deficit spending on state and national levels, high personal credit card debt, low levels of personal saving, sub-prime preditory lending and "upside down" loan structures, loss of jobs, Wall Street derivitave crooks out of control,aging population bubble, future social security insolvency, decline in real wages, unwise international interventions (the war), massive balance of trade money draining, government fraud/waste ineptitude and corruption, the coming inflationary backlash, what else are the elements of our financial MELTDOWN????



Right now our approaching national bankruptcy "is slouching toward Bethlehem to be born."

Actual rate of unemployment is 3 times higher than gov. numbers admit!

Expect the White House liar team to deny we're in recession a thousand times despite contrary evidence.

 

Jeez guys I come here to be cheered up. Life's a b--ch then you die.... but seriously spring is here, I can finally ride without wading through snow so life is good. OK gas is a bit expensive but hey it could be worse, probably will be in fact, but my daffies are up so I'm happy.

 

Forget the price of gas, have you seen the price of ammo?
How am I to keep govenment in check when I can't afford the bullets?

thats the easy part by a reloading press and reload your own. saves you about 60%. as far as the white house liar team. start at the at city level gov. and kill em all and start over. that ought to really stir up sum shit LOL.:frusty: :doh: :laser:

im just happy riding season is almost here. at almost $4 a gal. the bike will be out alot this year. the way the price of gas is going mybe more people will get into the bike craze. by the way has anyone seen the recent review of the 2008 yamaha r6 it is only rated at 35 mpg from the factory. i really dont consider that all that good considering my car basiclly gets that.

Frighteningly enough, part of what prompted me to finally get the VFR, besides Father Time laughing at me, was a gut feeling that life as we have known it is going to change for the worse very soon. It could just be age talking here, but it feels like more than that. Putting that grim thought aside, as a friend of mine used to say;

"There's a lot of unhappiness in the world. Let's just be glad none of it's here!"

 

I must say. I'm glad I got the vfr a year ago. 45mpg is way better than the 15 i get in my truck. Plus driving to visit the gf 20 miles each way a few times a week. It's about $3.65 (87 oct.) or more here. That money I save on gas, will allow me to get the truck out for a couple camping trips over the summer. That'll be fun, filling up a 40 gal tank. I just hope someone will find a way to grab the gas kings by the balls like they have some of us, and maybe they'll drop prices a bit...

 

Ohhh Nooo!!!!! remember what happened when i got political and economical the rainbow room vips did not want to hear the truth, and just gonna get worse so they can blame everything wrong with the whole world on bush (so a doomocrate can run i mean ruin the world )and republicans even though refied my house saved 8 years and lowered payment and got tax break how i got my bike oops i went there again hope my spelling is satisfactory for the 1st grade teachers..h8 to upset their fairytale sunshine world...lol who had the sperm white bike i forgot??

 

Alright...I got something to say about all this. I'm here in Germany where the Euro keeps getting strnger and the dollar keeps getting wealer, and our COLA (cost of living allowance) keeps declining. In Germany gas is a little over 1.30 Euro/liter, which equates to $2.00 per liter, now considering that there are ALMOST but not quite 4 liters per gallon, that's almost $8.00/gallon. The poor guys in the U.K. have it worse, they get less COLA than we do, and the pound is stronger than the Euro, if they buy off of the economy they are paying almost $9.00/gallon. Yeah, it sucks paying almost $3.50/gallon, when a mere 10 years ago it was right around $1.00/gallin, but again what are we gonna do? I enjoy driving, and riding my motorcycle even more. I try to consolodate my trips as much as possible, and it helps. Ok, now another question...how many of you gulp down youe spendy lattes, espresso's and such that are over $3.00 per drink? I'm the 1 guy from Seattle that doesn't drink coffee, AT ALL!!! My mom drives me nuts because she complains about the price of gas, buy she spends more in coffee than she does in gas. To me that's flawed logic. Ok I'm done now, and quitely returning to my corner.....
