Don't try to cut the tress down for fire wood. They frown on that.

It's been a few years since I camped in the redwoods, but I remember not having any trouble finding a campsite. Well worth the visit, imho, and a good idea to allow some time for a hike.

More recently I camped in Sequoia N.P., and that too was well worth the visit.

Love the big trees, and camping among them is rewarding in a special way.

Thank you for the offer. Unfortunately, my trip isn't until August. Y'all have a good trip home, though. Sorry that your time in PDX wasn't much fun -- it's actually a really nice place to live.
