Ya was doing a search while working last night.
A buddy at work has a gegem that he uses everytime he drives a vehicle at the studios, because we constantly are getting cut of...recently by a Sheriff who lied hitting a parked buss and then came clean after finding out about the dash camera.
Thats just one I saw on Google. Looking for something I can mount on the front of my bike.
Thanks you two, appreciate the input.

Thanks for posting OOTV, originally posted in this thread-

"As far as getting a video camera setup, check out this camera setup.
It won a WebBikeWorld product of the year award for 2015.
I have a sister product that I bought and it seems to be a nice little recorder,
this one is just a step up. A fellow rider on a local forum just bought this
setup but has yest to give us his review."

    Innovv K1: http://www.innovv.com/#!the-k1/c3r6

Mobius: WebBikeWorld Product of the Year- http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycles/best-motorcycle-products-2015.htm

I wanted to put some info into a more relevant thread, so cross replying here.

I have almost 3 years experience now with the Mobius, I now have 3 of them.

A little history, the Mobius is the evolution of the old 808 "keychain/nanny cam"
The 808 was & still is used a lot for Radio Control, which is where I got acquainted
with them. The Mobius is an awesome little cam, with nearly infinite control over
functionality with the GUI. Features like adjustable automatic file chopping,
so you're not dealing with one giant file when editing. I've always had mine set
at 10 minute intervals. Also better for retaining files if the power/ battery is
depleted. I also used hacked-up car USB regulators for cam power, cost is $5 or less each.

More here, yes it is a 1200+ page thread now- http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1904559

Loop or standard recording, WDR for low light, 180 degree invertable view for mounting
upside down, adjustable duration time-lapse, selectable photo and video modes, with
user-settable profiles. Also a number of hacks including remote lens placement via
optional ribbon cable extensions, lenses, filters, timestamp on/off, etc.

Overall quality is close to GoPro, plenty of comparo videos available. But the Mobius
normally goes for ~$75, and in my experience the quality gap is far smaller than the price gap.
But the intent here is comparing the Mobius vs the Innovv, so enough about the GP.

The Mobius is available in standard or wide lens versions, A,B or C lens, with A & C lens
being the most common. The Mobius was among the first, besides the GoPro, to have simultaneous
live-out and record capabilities, which makes it hugely popular with the RC FPV crowd.

The Innovv K1 does have 2 big advantages, those being the centralized recording for both cams,
and the ease of mounting the very compact lens units. Park mode is also cool, but the Mobius
can also be left on, so not a huge advantage there. And there as well, the Mobius is an easy one
to swap between bikes, or mounts on whatever- I use mine frequently as a general HD cam for handheld
    filming.

Back to the lens offerings, I prefer the standard lens which is 100 degree IIRC, the wide is 130 degree.

The fisheye on the standard lens is nil- but the wide lens does have a good bit of fisheye.

Depending on your needs, whether going for more aesthetic or utility/security filming I'd still prefer
the standard lens. But if you're looking for more surveillance oriented filming, the wide is a better choice.

Good comparison vid for the Mobius lenses here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ovZxxYIW0

On the Innovv, I think $265 is very reasonable, especially for the higher resolution 1920x1080 capability. EDIT, that is also the resolution for the
Mobius' high setting. So apples-to apples there.

If using permanently mounted I'd lean toward the Innovv, but for flexibility I will personally stick to the Mobii :)

Take advantage of the folks who have to have the "latest and greatest" of anything in gadgets. I'm seeing video cams of all sorts showing up on Craigslist. Consider too that most are not making sequels to "On Any Sunday", so a lot of what can be done will never be done.

Case in point: I just bought a brand new Samsung point and shoot for a peso. The disc was MIA. The disc had the instruction manual on it. 100+ pages. Came with the CF card, the charger and an extra battery.

So if some asshole nicks it off my bike or car, I'm only out un peso..
