How do you lubricate the throttle cable? Is it sufficient to just open the end at the throttle and just squirt some WD-40 on the cable?
    Thanks!

They make a Cable Lube kit.

I would think any motorcycle chop in your area would stock them. I don't recommend WD-40.

I use the Cable Lube spray, but the special adapter, even the "improved" one, that comes in the kit just doesn't seem to work. Spray goes everywhere...

I usually form a small funnel out of aluminum tape on the end of the cable, and spray/trickle the lube into it and let gravity assist the whole mess. On the throttle cable, it is helpful to use some sort of tape around the adjusters so the lube doesn't leak out.
