Okay, so after being a new VFR owner for 3 weeks and 2K miles, I have come to the conclusion that there is too much buzz in the bars at the speeds I ride on my commute. Please tell me there is a solution for this!

I have a '07 and I experience the same thing. Curious to see what others have to say. Got a feeling we'll have to put afermarket grips on.

Maybe heavier bar ends would help. Tons of them on ebay.

I already have aftermarket grips but I will have to give these a try. Is the buzz just a characteristic of these bikes? I also get a good bit of buzz in the pegs as well.

Questions: do you have the stock bar ends on (or any barends on)? Have you regeared the bikes? I changed from the heavy stock ones to aluminum ones on my FZR and it was BUZZZZZZ CITY! They quickly went back in.

I have a 98 VFR, and the vibration at highway speeds is not very significant at all.

The easiest changes might be heavier bar-ends (or filling the ends of your bars with something) and/or softer grips.
