Bring on the warm weather.

After months of reading the forums and deciding between this and the BMW F800 ST.I picked up a 07 Candy Red VFR on Saturday.I got all the parts with the bike;seat cowl,grab rail covers.But I also have two black flat pieces of plastic and don't have a clue of where they go or if they even go on the bike.Anyone know?

 

you can buy a color coordinated tank bra at Mag-Knight.
I purchased the white one for mine, so it won't hurt the lines of the tri-color.

Wednesday looks good for back to work commuting. can't wait.

 

These look like the two pieces that hold the windshield in place. Not 100%, but just changed my windshield recently and had to take off parts that looked just like those.

Anyone else know?

 

yup. those go on the inside of the windscreen, right above the gauges. you should probably have two bolts that came with it as well.

I'm with you on the weather. Bought a 1998 in January and I'm dying to get it out of the garage. I keep watching the weather channel but no luck. Another week ahead of us in Southern Ontario with wet snow and hovering around zero C. Come on Spring!

 

You guys were right about the placement of the parts.I picked up this baby on Saturday and it snowed all day in Virginia on Sunday.Hopefully I will get out by the end of this week to put some miles on her!

 

Of course it snowed several inches of snow the day after I picked it up,here are a few shots before the baby was unloaded.

 

Sweat, looks better out in the sun than it did at the motorcycle show room. BTW nice car there you have, good combo you have now huh?
