Well it's been a long process switching from my cruiser to the VFR but it looks like my new '06 vfr in pearl white with abs will be in and ready for me to pick up this week. I have broken in a new bike before but with a cruiser it is pretty easy to keep speeds down and to just "take it easy". What do I need to do to properly break in the new VFR.

    Only my opion!
The site RVFR refers to is really good. If Honda is anything like Ducati, then they dyno the bikes before they leave the plant. Every mechanic I have spoken to states the first thing is to run the bike pretty hard then change the oil. Then run it hard again. I have been riding VF/VFR’s since 1983 and have talked to many VFR owners. From what I have heard from guys that do nothing but get on the bike and ride (no break in, only general maintenance) that it is not uncommon for a VFR to get well over 100k in miles.
