There are reasons why you need stronger gun laws and SOW is one of them

I've read Norm's attitude about the gun grab and I respect it. In fact, I meant to PM you Norm to get more of your perspective. One of these days...

Rob, there is no perspective on gun laws out here, guns are of a very low interest to 98% of the population here. Even recreational shooters (mostly ducks) are in the minority. Farmers have guns for obvious reasons and the crooks have guns and usually they just shoot each other up which is a good thing but even the number of crooks shooting each other is very low and it is usually the same families or groups that are linked

his sounds like NYC-only the crooks have guns-just read the story in NYC how crooked cops sold gun permits for $6000.

Yeah, that's what I remember Norm. Maybe it's just a difference in culture. Have Aussie attitudes towards guns always been that way?

I'm not afraid of getting too political here. "Most" people seem pretty level headed, even if they disagree.

Rob, I think Australia has pretty much always been the same way, never been a gun culture here and even when the government did the buyback of guns from the community nothing much changed except that they clamped down on who could buy guns and so far it has worked in stopping the nuttier cases from being able to get their hands on the military style weapons that cause so much havoc in the hands of nutters

that's the only way you could get one-though a dealer-its brand new $240+ a few extra costs, shipping, dealer costs, but as far as I can see a really good value
a Russian 7.62x25 and blast though most anything- I seen amo that goes 1750 with a 85 grain or .310 size bullet FMJ, I got some military surplus amo too which is really usual being shipped too,. It should have some really big recoil with the fast amo-560 pounds with two foot flames.

It's good to know you passed a background check. I'd like one of those. I have Makarovs.
