Hello All. Just picked up a 1997 VFR 750 and figured this was the best place to talk about it. I had an 86 interceptor 500 and am pretty sure this is just an evolution of those bikes? Really digging this bike, if anybody has suggestions on things to check please let me know. Thanks and glad to be here

Hey congrats on your new sled, how do you like the RC51 ? that was the bike I have been lusting after since i sold my 94 900SS, went to a shop in Chatsworth and took one for a ride and hated the ergo's. Since I'm verticaly chalenged (and spelling) it didnt fit me well at all for what I was looking for-sweet looking ride Rex

Here's the custom tail section on the rc51. My uncle Tony was a cool dude, and the original "Mad Basco."

I really like that rc just for purely riding around. No fun with a tank bag or any of that stuff. Mine has a corbin seat and sato rearsets and I just threw on some vortex clip ons and its actually pretty nice to ride, now that said I would not be taking it on any 1000 mile rides anytime soon I don't think.

Now that I have my VFR, maybe a 51 should keep it company---- just for the quick hour or two blast threw the canyons out here.
