Hey guys, just wondering if the activation of the tail light second filament is controlled through the turn signal relay?

I'm still having troubles getting my lights to work properly. I can see on the wiring diagram that the brake lights go onto the same path as the signal lights, but I'm not too great with wiring.

I've got a universal 3 post signal relay from part source (was $5, figured it was worth a try) but I don't know which post does what (They are labeled X, L, and P)

I don't think it's my brake switches, as I can see them move/hear it engage, but I don't have a multimeter to test it.

    Thanks guys.

HONDA electrics can be troublesome, so owning a meter is a necessity!!

use an ohmmeter to test both switches for continuity after unplugging them.

next test for 12 volts at the fuse that controls brakelight circuit.

brakelights may be on the same fuse as turnsignals but NOT controlled by any relay.
