a coworker of mine who lives in the UK was pleased to see me pull up to the office on a '95 VFR here in AU. he says he rides a '90 VFR750FL back home. he's offering me an extra set of braided brake lines he has laying around. now the braided lines he showed me are roughly of equal length where as the OEM single line coming from my master cylinder splits just above the fender as seen in the photo below.
do braided lines both connect directly to the master cylinder?
will these VFR750FL braided lines work on my bike?
    thanks for the help

From your description, it sounds like you are getting part of a stainless steel setup. You won't realize the full potential of SS lines unless you replace all the hoses with SS.

As far as I know there are three ways to use braided lines.

    1. A direct swap of SS lines to replace the OEM with no changes

    2. Eliminate the junction block by running two lines directly from the MC using a "double" banjo bolt at the MC

    3. Run one line from the MC to one caliper and then loop up around the fender down to the other caliper - using a "double" banjo bolt on the first caliper.

#1 Concerns: The junction block still exists where air bubbles can be trapped.

#2 Concerns: None - most recommended method

#3 Concerns: Bleeding is a pain as the last caliper in the line must be lower than the first caliper in the line - but setup looks cool.
