So I have a previous post where i was going to look at a 3rd gen (91) for $2150 with 43000 miles on it. Took it for a test ride and it sounded and felt mechanically great!!! Besides a sticky throttle, and I talked the guy down to $1500!!! so i got it :D what do you guys think? i haven't even given her a bath yet due to cold weather but as soon as it is warm enough she is getting a scrub down!

one quick question. Can i leave the petcock in the on position if im not gonna ride her for a little bit or should i just turn it to off? can't wait to get her on the road!!!

You can leave the petcock on. I would invest in a battery tender. Glad to see the market rebounding as I am thinking about selling my 92 soon. I think you got a decent deal. Would look into changing all fluids if they havent been already and enjoying the bike.
