Well I went to a local bike parts & accessories shop ( Fink's ), to look at helmets & riding gear.
Well the sales people were polite enough to let me shop without hassel, But when they seen that I was seriously lookin at brain buckets, someone came over & helped me find a helmet that fit my big head. The helmet I would "really" like to have, had to be ordered, so I decided to go with the Vega as a starter helmet. unfortuniatly they didn't have any bright colors in stock out side of Pink( not that I have anything against Pink, but, Their main stay is the harley crowd ) so I had the choice of silver, shiney black & flat black.

So I went with Flat Black, & went to Advance & bought some reflective tape, & will be be doing my best to make it very noticable.
Nope, I didn't make it out with out buying a shirt & head wrap.
I am petty sure I will be going with textile riding gear, as leather is way to heavy for my liking. Plus none of the leather had any body armor ( unless you concider bright-work armor).

Good deal, safety gear is a must on the roads today, too many unattentive drivers out there. I also did the reflective tape on my all black helmet, I also bought one of those orange reflective vest and wear it any time I ride the highways. I ended up buying a Hi-Viz helmet too.

I've been buying all types of riding gear lately, leathers, textile, under armor garments, back protectors, you name it. Apart from my helmets, most of the gear I bought on closeout so I was able to buy more for my money. That being said, if you really want to get a set of leathers, Sportbike Track Gear is having an Alpinestar Leathers closeout and they have some good deals going. Ride safe.

    Cheers!
