Was riding about, today & decided to stop in at the Motorcycle SuperStore outlet, & have a look around. Ended up walking out with a set of Nelson-Riggs Sprint 50 Saddle Bags for 53 bucks. :thumb:
I will most likely make a set of saddle bag mounts at some point for them as I am not really a fan of the Velco straps across the seat.

I was also given the contact info for someone in the local area that is suppose to be really good with motorcycle seats.
Infact the guy that gave me the info is a salesman at another local Parts & Appearal ( SP?) shop, was looking at what they had for gel pads for seats, & asked if I could take one of them out to my bike? He asked me what kind of bike I had? & when I told him I had an 83 Interceptor, He told me he absolutely couldn't allow me to go out to my bike with out him, as he really wanted to take a look at my Bike. ( was actually surprised as the shop mainly caters to harley's )

    Nice.

I have N/R bags on mine too. I have a Corbin seat, and I run the 2 main Velcro straps under the seat. Tight, but it fits. I then attach the supplied adjustable straps to the rear foot pegs, and another one to the rear grab handles. Its tight, secure, and the only contact is where the pads are.

Hi Pliskin, I will try straps under the seat, & I did mount the other straps as you pointed out.
I actually would like to move the bags up & to the rear just a bit more then they are now.

Hi BGV, at the moment I couldn't handle 4 hours butt tyme one way, Ouch!
If I could, I would have been up there to do the south-eastern ride some of you guys are doing tomorrow. Maybe next year? & maybe I will beable to hit southern KY, & or northern tennesee ?
