Hi everyone, just a quick post to get going for now, I started biking in 1979 on a Kawasaki Z 250 Scorpion, great little bike, and had more than a few other bikes since. I have also marshaled in the Isle of Man at both the TT and the Grand Prix ( will post pics at later date). But due to an operation on my left hand I had to give up biking in 1995. I thought all was lost and even stopped reading the bike mags and rags, until a friend pointed out the vfr 1200 dct to me. I spoke to the local dealer and he let me have a short test ride (with him riding by the side, so to speak) and Lo and behold I'm planning a purchase. Wont be for a year, until funds collect. I have ghosted a few bike forums for a couple of weeks and liked the look of this one, and it's members, so I joined. I look forward to reading your posts and being guided by your vast experience.

A warm welcome to the MadHouse - Ian.

The DCT is an amazing machine which will bring miles of smiles:smile:.

When you can round up the funds - just go for it! But don't forget to post up pictures when you do!

Meantime just think of all those fun moments you have been missing - like the adrenaline rush when a demented fly gets inside you helmet .

    Take care
