I just installed some replacement fasteners. Took a ride with two of them loose on the front. Did not realize they would vibrate out so easily. Honda will replace them for 10 bucks a piece. Found aircraft suppliers that would sell lots of ten for about a buck each. The aircraft suppliers only came with phillips, straight, or wingnut heads. Was tempted to get D-ring style, so they would not need a tool, and they would look cool. The cheapest I found was Kurveygirl.com. 32 bucks for ten, and they were black. Which looks cool on my red '96! Shipping was just over 3 bucks, so I like paying the actual cost instead of profit inflating fake fee. The OEM style ones are exact and perfect fit. Comes with new clips and new nylon washers (separate part number and cost with Honda dealer). Put them on tonight, and they are just what I wanted. D-ring is tight in head so it doesn't flap in the wind. If you want them to lie flat, you can push them down. KurveyGirl - Motorcycle Stuff: Dzus Fasteners, angled valve stems, Vesrah and More If you are looking for body panel fasteners, check them out. I couldn't be happier:smile: Now, I want to tack weld a D-ring on the main allen head bolt.
There are many forums, and many are chosen. Started with one, and then looked at others, and then figured it would fit in many categories. Search function cuts through all? Sorry if it is clutter.
