    Hi there,

My dad recently bought a mid-'90s BMW K1100, an LT I think. It's definitely not an R. At any rate, it came with three sets of hard side bags and at least two trunks. I haven't seen the pieces, but he tells me they're all BMW-logo. He did not see any other logos on them.

My question: Does anyone know if these were made by one of the aftermarket companies, such as Givi? Givi makes OEM stuff for Honda, I wonder if these BMW bags would easily bolt up to my 5th gen. And those BMW emblems can be taken care of

I think Krauser and Hepcko&Becker produce bmw OEM parts.

Thanks, Dan. I'll take a look at the bags next weekend and see if I can find any markings or identify the mounting hardware. If they made these bags and make VFR brackets, I'll be set!

I've looked at the bags--they say JDEHA on them. JDEHA's website, however, doesn't have any information on their website, so that's not much help. But the Hepco & Becker site has photos of their VFR mounting racks, so I think we're going to use that as a starting point. Thanks for your help!

Someone on here with a red 5g bike has silver BMW bags mounted to it. You might try a search for BMW bags through the photo gallery and see if it helps you at all. I found the one i was thinking of. The user name is flameface and here is his bike:
