Has anyone installed a Blue sea fuse box on a 6th gen?
Could you post pics of where you installed it?
Tight space on the 6th gen. for that box.

I've got one but never could find a place to mount it. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to say I couldn't find a place to mount it where I could get to it if a fuse cooked on the road. Meaning I didn't want to put it behind the fairing or anything, I wanted it where I could easily get to the fuses. I did get a Centech fuse block to work though. It fits fine right behind the rear brake fluid reservoir under the seat.

    Thanks for the pics Scott.
My friend already ordered the Blue sea box so we'll have to see if we can
fit it under the seat somehow.

You're welcome, but I don't think you'll find room under there. The 6 gens just don't have much room at all under the seat. I've got a brand new Blue Seas box at home and just plain couldn't find a place I liked to mount it.

Good luck with it, and if you do find a good spot I'd love to know where it is just out of curiosity.

    Success!!! :party2:

Found a place to put it under the seat and also easy access to the relay.
Doh! I forgot to take pics but I was able to install it.
Secured by velcro and easy access to 4 fuses (out of 6).
trade off? cannot use 2 fuses due to space limitation
and cannot use the top cover of the fuse box.

I got it from Cycle Gadgets (CycleGadgets.com) Great people to order from and one of my favorites.

They are a good bit higher than the Blue Seas though. The Blue Seas is around $20 and this one is around $50. You might be able to beat the price by hunting around some.

See circle and arrow in the pic.
circle is where I put the relay secured by double side tape and cable ties.
the arrow shows where i put the fusebox secured by velcro.
there is a plastic tab I had to cut and you cannot use the cover
    of the fuse box.
The fuse box was $42. You can find those at Marine/boat supply shops.
Or online. But, online, they charge you about $10 more.

From the fuse box, I ran the wires to the GPS (Zumo).
all going on the left side. Had to remove the fairing to hide the wire.

    Hope that helps.

SCraig, that's a good place to put it! I just purchased a Centech panel, and was trying to figure out where to put it. I'll keep that in mind for when I install everything.
