So I was doing my pre season checks and fluid changes and noticed that my front left blinker wasn't on. It won't blink either. It does blink with the hazard lights but that's the only time it works. The fact that it works with the hazard makes me think that it's the relay gone bad. It seems like if the group doesn't or power wire were bad that the light wouldn't work at all. I tried looking at the schematic from the 02-09 service manual but it doesn't match what I have. The schematic shows 3 wires coming from the light while I only have 2. Plus, my relay has more wires than the schematic does. Any thoughts?

It could also be your blinker switch.

If it was the switch would that cause the running light to not work?

Mmmm, we don't have the running lights here.
Is it a single filament bulb?

If you have a workshop manual, look at the schematics to see how it works.
If you don't, join VFRD so you can download it for free.
That will make it easier to diagnose.

I have. Which is one of the reasons I'm so confused. The schematic I downloaded doesn't seem to match what I have. I downloaded the 02-09 manual but it shows 3 wires coming from the lights while I only have 2.

The orange and orange white might join before it gets to the bulb as it only specifies a one filament bulb.
I can't see the rest of the schematic to see where it goes to.

According to the schematic the Orange goes to the blinker switch, the gage cluster and the rear blinker. The orange/white goes to the blinker switch and the front blinker.

I have ordered a replacement relay Hopefully that works.
