I purchased a Black Widow front wheel lift that works off of the steering stem. It cost $90 with shipping. The stand came with five different size pins that work on all size bikes. The unit did not come with the required hardware to assemble it though (got it through Discountramps.com). I called them and they sent out another set of the pins again and no hardware. I called again and finally they sent all the right hardware, and another set of pins!:crazy: The unit itself is very nice, well constructed and access to all bolts is perfect. Drawback #1, I had to remove the entire fairing to use it or it would hit under the headlights. Drawback #2, It didn't lift high enough to get the wheel off the ground!! I had to put 3/4" plywood under the wheels of the unit to get front end high enough. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll finish my fork service and send it back and pay the extra cash for a Pit Bull and see how that works. Hope this is helpful to everyone looking for this kind of lift.
