Next friday (March 28) I will be picking up my brand new 2007 Red White & Blue VFR 800. The wife has still not chopped my head off, so all is well. This will be a nice upgrade from the 1980 CB750F that used to move me around.

Just be ready for the longest week of your life. If you're going from an old CB750, you are in for the shock of your life when you twist the throttle on the VFR!!!
    BTW, Welcome to the site.

Mark, congrats on the "Captain America" bike. I'm partial to the RWB myself!

Thanks guys, and hey I am not the only one that calls it the Captain America bike. Wish the KBC FFR classic helmet came in RWB to really set off the Cpt. America angle.

If you are good 'n nice to your wife, anything is possible:smile:

Bought the RWB last fall and a brand new Mustang BULLITT this week, even tough she does not like the "highland green " color to much:yield:

Back on subject, congrats on your purchase, you will love it!

Yeah, my cats disapproved of the VFR at first...then I gave them treats. Maybe you should give your wives treats (i.e. Scooby snacks, batteries, etc.) :banplease:

The funniest thing about it is.. I came home from work Friday and the wife said lets go to the bank... I think deep down she wanted me to have the bike (my 89 ranger is on its last leg and she needs to have the other vehicle to drive).

Next year I will have to get her a new car... She keeps talking about this new Ford Flex... We will see, I should have a nice penny saved by then.

Well, I got to motor my new scooter 1+ hours back to the house tonight. Oh how I love that smell of a new helmet and the sounds of the V-4 thumping away.

Hi Marco, took delivery Tuesday night, drove it about 150 miles and loved it!
Ford made a great job with the suspension, this car turns like a go-kart! much better than a stock GT; sound is great too with the Ford Racing exhaust:biggrin:

Mark: did you get the plastic insert covers for where the passenger grab handles would be if you took them off. I had to go back and ask the dealer to find'em. You get those instead of a real tool kit on the anniversary edition. :)

Now where to mount the shield holder
