So my daughter recently put together a surprise 50th birthday party for me and invited all my riding buddies. One of them is a graphic artist by trade and always does all my graphics work for me when I need something, whether it's a tattoo design or a new sticker for the bike or car. So one of his birthday gifts to me was a magazine. He took the new issue of Motorcyclist and put his own cover on it. Funny guy. All in good fun just the same.
Hey Dave You know what they say about keeping your friends close.................. Hopefully a good time was had by all. I can remember when my brother and I helped my mom plan my dad's 50th birthday party and some of the gag gifts that showed up. My dad knew it was all in good fun but some of the gifts were certainly different. One of dad's friends gave him a box of Depends and a Penis Crutch, and another supplied one of those "Natural Male Enhancement" pills. I am getting to the point where my best friend may host my 50th and I can only imagine what may show up in the gift department. Happy Belated Birthday Dave and may there be many more.
