Bikes running cooler now, and all I did was

    Change the coolant. I had some Toyota coolant and used that.

    Now my cruising speed gives a temp of *180.~*183. Before I was getting *196.~*200. at the same speeds. I did about a 60% coolant mix.

    I knew the Toyota stuff was good because of 20 years of wheeling in my 85 4x4(now has 480,000. miles)the engine still looks new(on the inside).

    But I did not think the temps would change, that much for the better!:thumbsup:

    maybe you should have used new coolant..instead of taking it out of the toyota......:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

    the fact that it came from a Toyota with that many miles is like the Toyota giving it it's magical power of infinite life.

    Ever see Top Gear try to kill a Toyota? they gave up.
