    Hello everyone…

    Back to square one again….
Stored bike all winter would start bike every 2 weeks sometimes in 10 deg. Weather no problems.
    Fired right up.

First good day to ride and the bike will not start.
This makes no sense to me.

I charged the battery ,no fuses blown this time.
I drained all the gas and added fresh gas still nothing.
Just keeps cranking. I purchased anothor computer just in case and still the same thing.
No lights are flashing for the PFI.
I hear the fuel pump working but I really don’t smell any gas even if I flooded the bike.
I checked the two back plugs they look good. IT does already have a replacement R/R from last year.

I don’t have a clue ….not sure if the fuel filter is clogged?
But why would it start all winter.
Wish I had Carbs …some times.
    Any advice would be great…
    VFR steve

Have you tried turning the ignition on and off a few times before hitting the start button?

If you tank was drained and no fuel in the fuel line, it may take a few times before fuel pump to get the fresh fuel through the fuel injectors..

    Hello,
    Yea I tried that....
I tried the test from the Vfr manual tonight.
It says to remove the gas line and plug the tank.
Then place a container under the fuel line that goes to the tank.
I turned the key on for 10 seconds.
5 oz of gas should come out....That did not happen so...
I will change the fuel filter which is located in the tank.
Great place to put a fuel filter.
    will hope for the best.
    Thanks for the post...
    Wish me luck.
    regards,
    VFR Steve

OK...great for some reason I never think of the simple things...
When I had the older VFR with the carbs ...I knew the plugs would foul easy.

For some reason I did not think the Fuel injection would....
Big mistake was to run the bike for only short times during the winter.
Should have just juiced the battery after a few months of sitting.

So all I has to do was change the plugs....sucker fired up on the first try!!
    Me so happy!!!

Too bad its has been raining all weekend............
