I was just going to post this as well....that must of been a scary ride. Those of us with saddle bags should know that they do stick out a little bit...

He's French. I'm sure he was retreating from somewhere.

I was going to say that sucks the big one, till I read he was French.

Imagine that conversation with the boat owner: "Sir, I just hit your boat, with my motorcycle..."

Marvelous the camera man was recording at the time as nothing worse than an embarrassing oops not recorded, luckily he only injured his finger.

A classic non-the-less, not a hater and hate seeing people crash too. Damn guy could have been de-capitated by those stainless steel lines yah know...He was lucky.

I used to use soft throw-ova saddle bags and used to scrape NYC cabbies with em

Tank bags are good as those tail bags...

Do french wimmins have hair under their arm pits? Since you are an expert,

Some of the comments are hysterical. My favourite: "For a second there, I almost thought I'd watch a Frenchman take a bath."

Ok, people. What have we learned here?

    Top tail trunk = good

Side cases = plunge into the abyss

I've found my top case to be a little worriesome fully loaded at low speeds. All that weight up there makes it feel like I'm riding 2-up.
