Sorry if you're members of the "other" forum since I asked this question there also. I know some are but most aren't and I wanted to get a big VFR input. Here's the question, statement, concern, confusion? I'm not sure. I'll probably end up with a 91 VFR needing a ton of love instead of either of these. Anyway

So, I like V4's. Loved the 02 I had. Really love the 85 VFKR I have in the garage and aside from a family emergency I don't see it going anywhere (knock on wood).

In about 5 months I'll be home from this deployment and assuming all things are good I'll have a little extra money and the wifes permission to get a new(er) bike. As I said, I know what the VFR is about and enjoy everything from the sound to the feel.

I've been doing some looking around and I remember the newer Triumph Tiger 1050 have some pretty neat features ie. radial brakes, multi spoke wheels, 2-up accomodations, USD fully adjustable forks. and really like the looks. The kicker is they are about the same price (around $7000 for 07 models) which is similar to an 07 VFR. Hhhmm.

So my question is ( I know who I'm asking so hold the "VFR's are best!" comments), has anyone road both for a period of time? Comparo?

Just to assist, I'm 6'4" and about 240lbs. So suspensions get modded. My 2-up to 1-up riding is about 15/85.
