Best Year of the Fourth Gen

I am interested in opinions on which year of the fourth gen is the best to have, and why. Any input you can think of that might be relevant will be appreciated, including hard-to-get parts, maintenance issues, etc.

Also, are there any typical things to look for as potential problems?

Aren't they all identical from 1994-1997?

I am biased, but I vote for 1996.

 

Ofcourse it will be the 1997 one, last year made is always the highest value. Unless you get #1 ....

LOL man O man what a ? Ha I told myself that when I get another one it would be the last year version, So yea 97 :wink: I did see that some early release 94 were a bit different in the paint detail like instead of the gold pin stripe around the wing on the tank it was silver. I'll see if I can find those photos they were in the CW issue back in 93 I believe. Also heard and can see in the shop manual some minor things where changed like between the ca and 49 state model too. Reason I know this is for like the first 3 years after I bought my 96 new with a shop manual, I would get up dates from Honda to add to the service manual.
