no worries mate. I still list stuff as a new thread that I know we have hashed over sometimes. that way if someone missed it they will see it on the new list and sometimes we get more info out there. plus sometimes, I can't find stuff that I know we discussed.

    Burn new-non-searching-newbie-newbie-noob!!!:caked:

Oh well, I think that thread title wins the award of Most Common Thread to Appear in New Post List:rolleyes:

    it's all good tho.:third:

I like my microns, they're just not quite loud enough. I was looking to scare small children, they only make them whip around real quick. streetfighters-usa.com had a goof up on their site and listed new micron titanium systems at $750! Not cheap, but $150 less than retail is a deal.

Have an 04 VFR and still a fan of the Staintunes I put on the bike the sound gets better once you remove the baffles (easy two screws under the exhaust and they slip out) and after a few thousand miles. Nice low growl at idle and nice tone in throttle.

I got my Staintunes for 700 plus tax. The guys at sporttour.com had the best price and still negotiated a bit.

Another vote for Staintunes...I absolutely love the way the V4 sounds with these pipes. Like jackson said, give Sporttour a call...ask for a salesperson named Glen.

Mention you picked up their site off of a motorcycle board and he may work with you.

I was holding out for a set of Laser Extremes for my '06, but they say the ones for the '02-05 won't work on it, so I have to wait for them to release the ones for the '06, or at least for them to decide that there's no damn difference between the two years except VTEC engangement and clear winkers...

If I can't hold out I'm going with the Staintunes. Glen at Sporttour just qouted me $809 with $10 shipping.

I'm looking for sound that snaps peoples heads too, becuase local drivers don't seem to ever think I'm right beside them.

I'm the youngest guy on the block so I didn't want to offend my nieghbors with sound, but the guys next door have Hardleys, so I'm good.

I have made my second exhaust system now using the stock down pipe. Make your own, the possibilities are endless. Especially if you want loud.
Well, I am having a time here trying to attach these photos and sound files. If you look in my gallery you will see my latest exhaust and my last on which used 2 laser mufflers and also a sound file of the new mufflers.

Whats wrong with the stock pipes. I personally think they look awesome. I know its about the sound, but why? Lets not turn into Harley folk.

what about the leovince pipes? I haven't heard anyone comment on those yet. I like the way those look best, because they look shorter than the microns. I just wish they made them in CF.

turn into harleys?!?! come now my friend. have you heard the sweet sweet sounds of the V4 when given room to breathe? have you ridden down the street listening to the pulse of the exhaust roaring behind you? have you scared children two blocks away simply by firing up your ride?

if not, i recommend it to anyone. it is pure bliss.

if yuo're looking for a recommendation, lasers work for NYMBYSS

seadooloo, really like the look of your homebrew system. any write-up on your work?
