Newbie questions. Whats the best mods on vfr? -1 front sprocket? Is a power commander on a stock vfr worth it? Thanks for any inputs!

Hi, I suggest you spend some time reading. There is a ton of info. What would you like to accomplish? That's the very first question you should ask.

No idea what the best mods for a 2002 VFR800 are Tib99 but I can unequivocally say that the best mods for a 2003 VFR800 are Smiley Face valve stem caps.

Yep,gotta have 'em! Let's people know you're a friendly guy.

All kidding aside the best mods I've done to any bike that I've ever owned were lighter weight rims and reworked or aftermarket suspension.

A Power Commander with a properly tuned map won't really gain you much in the way of horsepower but it will smooth out the low RPM stumble that these bikes have. Makes the power delivery glassy smooth and seamless from idle all the way up to redline.
