While I have not heard the best about "Best Honda" in Nashua NH I pretty much had to do something about the recall... I figurted this would be a god test... Dropped off last friday they called the following wednesday and told me it was all done...

I had them do the 6000 mile go through as well and picked it up this morning... OMG I missed riding this winter.... Rode it back to work and she is puring like a kitten.... New wwiring hearness and they even did the expired Stater recall... They then checked on a few other recalls and adjusted valves and replaced all fluids..

I will probably go back for my 12,000 mile go through based on this experience...

Dude - on your ride each cylinder has 4 valves and once in a very great long while they need to be checked. Manuals usually say at 16k. You could probably get away up to about 25k. I checked my old 4th gen a 22k and everthing was in spec.

I will have to check again when I get home today. I have told by my dealer there is no need to adjust the valves for the Vtech engine. Now you guys made me wonder:confused:

Scubalong, I suggest you punch your dealer in the nose.

I think at 16K you wont need to have the valves checked, but I plan on it at 25K. Then again, most peeps that have their valves checked come back and say they were in spec, so maybe your dealer is right and I need the punch in the nose...
