Here are just some pics of my 03 vfr 800 just purchased and with new mods, Fender elimator (made myself), zg sr windscreen, rear seat cowl, removed handles and new plugs.

 

Nice! I made the dealer strip the new 08 they had of it's cowl and covers and the prior owner eliminated the fender by taking a sawzall to it. Looks ok until you get up on it and see how rough it looks. I may smooth it out. Whatcha doin with the Givi shield? I've been wanting to try one. Prior owner put on ZG DB and it's great up till hwy speed. I find myself right in the turbulence at helmet level and it's smooth a few inches above the shield and below so figured I need either a taller touring shield to deflect over my helmet or a shorter shield to put my head in clean air.

Now for some pipes, a PCIII and some luggage. Then some heli bars, pwder coated rims, a seargeant seat, an Ohlins shock and a super charger!

On the other hand, you could just enjoy it as it is, which is just perfect.

Luggage

My local honda dealer has a set of oem luggage in 08 silver on ebay. I'm thinking of heading in there and making a crazy offer. I don't think they'll sell anytime soon. They are asking for the standard $1000. I bought my other bike from them and do get all my maintenance done there so maybe they will deal.

 

Gorby, i have no plans for the screen. I did see a difference going to the smaller lower windscreen. Highway riding was better but just didnt like the look. Wind was above my head and now it is on my chest but not in my face at least. maybe if i do a long highway ride i would put it back on but probably not.
