Hey guys I have a 95interceptor vfr750 and I'm having problems with my battery I have already been thru a couple and there not too cheap. They only last about a month and the acid just vanishes from the cells. It does have a charging problem cause it only push around 12.25 volts when running and at high rpm. Any reason why my electrolytes would just be gone out of my cells?

Did you check under your seat to make sure there is no Gremlin under there?
Not sure which brand you used but my Yuasa last about six years. BTW :welcome: to the MADNESS
You might want to invest with new Stator, RR and the harness. I am sure they are cheaper then new battery every year.

Why not sort out the charging issue instead of burning through batteries?
The CB1's had a problem when the R/R went they would overcharge and boil out the battery acid.
Check your R/R and stator readings to find the culprit.

Maybe your meter is inaccurate ?? As Durk stated, it's likely that your r/r needs replacement, something you verify after testing the stator output according to FSM. Boiling a battery dry is an indication of excess charging voltage, something that could damage your CDI blackbox soomer or later.

Your bike should have a sealed, no maintenance battery. What are you using ??

I am guessing at some point after it warms up the charging system is puking oot some serious voltage to the battery.
