Hi everybody. Hope VFR people are overcoming this horrible period. Here in Europe we begin to enter in a less heavy lockdown. So, I decided to do a little maintenance to my 87 VFR 750 F (1st generation). Battery charge, check of all fluids...tires etc… I have a question : before to stop my bike for many months I noticed that battery was a little poor of energy after a ride. Last year I replaced the fan thermoswitch (Honda original ) with an aftermarket item that triggers at 85 C°. May be fans start too often or do you think may be my rectifier is going bad? Voltage on the battery measured with engine working at 2k rings/minute was between 13,8-14 volts. Is it good or not? In case of nned of rectifier replacement is it better a SH rectifier for my bike or a FH (mosfet one). I would avoid problems with the stator/alternator. Many many thanks for your advice and stay safe! Lamps to everybody! Carmine
