I'm new to the forum but not to riding. I used to ride an 87 Magna, which I sold when I left to go overseas. While on leave, I just bought a 2007 VFR800 (25th Anniversary)....it's great to be back up and riding again. I was able to reaquaint myself with Arizona (been gone for over 11 years) and enjoy the scenic views that I've missed. For my last ride (on this vacation anyway), my wife and I rode out to Fountain Hills, Az. The town has a huge water fountain (geiser) and a nice and relaxing park to sit and watch the fountain. There is a nice Veteran's Memorial near the fountain, a great tribute to those that have served our country. I took the back roads on the return trip for a very nice ride 'out in the open', up through upper Scottsdale and Carefree/CaveCreek area and over to Peoria. I couldn't ask for better weather: 75 in the a.m., clear skies, light traffic (due to Sunday a.m.)....considering it's November!! As I pack for my return overseas, I will miss not being able to hit the road whenever I please but it only gives more excitement for the return home. I posted pics at the following address: http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/ff71/azpnshr/ Be safe and ride often!!
welcome to the site. we are glad to have you here. most of us here are big fans of the 25th ann. ed. even if we won't pony up the dough to get a new one. it's really honda's fault for making such a good bike for so many years.
