Back on the bike!

I do Taekwondo to keep myself in shape, and about 7 weeks back literally got my 4 lower front teeth kicked in during a "pickup" sparring match despite mouthguard, headgear and a face shield. Broke the roots of 2 of the teeth and part of the jaw holding the teeth in. Few weeks after surgery tried to put my helmet on, but the jaw injury was too much.

Still got the wires in my mouth but tried again last night with no pain and took the bike for a ride. What a thrill! Like getting a new toy. Can only imagine what those of you in the colder climates myst feel when the snow starts to melt.

 

I can feel your pain.. .it took me about 3 months after my shoulder surgerey caused by a bycicle accident. Than an other 3 weeks after second surgery 6 months later. Be careful and enjoy the ride.

I can't wait for next spring. I will be back from a deployment. The best man in my wedding is getting married & I will be his best man. I'm getting the laser surgery on my eyes. Not to mention getting to ride again. Yep, springtime is looking real good.

Stupid winter oh well only about 3 more months till I can ride again.

 

I remember when my Ex wife hade her jaw wired shut..............ahhhhh peacefull bliss. then she started grunting and ruined it.

 

Thanks dude. Now I have to clean the beer that shot out of my nose off my keyboard.
