Well, been a while since I been on this side, but did just update my information and like to post that in August 2016 I did buy a 1986 VFR750FG. My love for the 1986/87 VFR750F was so strong, missed my 1987 since I sold it back in 2010....

    So here it is:

Its a old bike, and in the add (did buy it from a shop) the milage was stated 135k kms, but the closer I have been looking on the bike, even it has marks from a right hand fall, I belive the bike only has 35k kms on the clock. It runs so strong and the fork downtubes are so free from damage even it has stock stickers on! Also exhaust is oem and in good condition!

Say what you think if you want!

Anyway, its undergoing a light restauration now, slowly, have got parts I need to get it nice as OEM, Just got the side fairings from a painter, had some small marks, the bolt on part of the sub frame was also cracked, from the side bags?, and I gave a good one now, as oem brake discs and new brake pads for the rear. Will do a valve clearance check and find out why the fuel pump is wired so the tail light drives it.....

    Update later.

That's a pretty sweet ride right there. Good to see you back in the saddle, There's nothing like getting back to that feeling of being home. Enjoy

Yah, I'd buy a different bike, as that is a lot of km's! I'd even be willing to buy this one from you, or at least the body panels, exhaust and saddle bag mounts! (HaHa) Nice machine. Nice bike. We never got this model in Canada, only the R/W/B color in 1986. I am lucky to own a 1987 VFR700F2, from the States. It goes fast enough for me. The full 750 must be real sweet. I believe this is the best VFR750 that has ever been built. Either this one or the 1998 model. Even if it does have 135,000 k.m.'s, which is possible, it has 200,000 k.m. left. That is not even 5000 k.m. per year! Mine's gone about 1666 k.m./year!
