    Hi all,

New to the fourm not the VFR, though been on hiatus from one for quite sometime.

Had a 87 VFR700 rode it for two years, Then sold it, for a 86 VF1000R Big mistake. Had the VF1KR for 3 years and then traded it in on a CBR1100XX fun though it was for 24 hours.

Then came the Drunk Driver... CBR 1/2 as long and now twice as high.

(anyone want to buy a CBR with 63 miles on it slightly used. )

So to make a long story short this weekend I'm picking up a 02 VFR with 6K on the Odo.

So now the 64 cent question, What to do to make a Good Ride better? Perhaps this is the Harley side of me not being albe to not tweak with something, so where to start. Suggestions?

    Cheers!

I think where to begin with mods starts with what kind of riding you plan to do. The VFR is quite good out of the gate, although given recent experiences of my own, I might suggest frame sliders. :)

    Riding Style.

Well, The riding I'll be doing with thte VFR is the occasional hop to work, doing duty between that and the Harley. On weekends for short hops, perhaps 100 to 150 Mi, in and about the lancaster contryside anything longer than that I'm probably going to take the Hog, because at my age taking the couch has some definate appealing points. And finally when I just feel the need for a bit more speed than the hog can provide. Other than that the Hog is going to reamin my main ride especially when Riding with the wife or toting her.

Normally I would know exactly wnat I wanted to do but having been out of the Sport/Sport tourer scene for 9 years, geez I dont even know what my options are.

Any pointers in a direction (any woud be helpful.)

Ok going forward, I am thinking of changing out the exhaust, the factory pipes are just a bit too quiet. So I've been looking about and the only two pipes I can find that fit a 02 VFR are the Staintune and Two Brothers Stash pipes. Since I'm not wanting to put a "fake" dual exhaust on, I am looking for other options other than the Staintune exhaust. Anyone have any other pipe recommendations?
