A lot has happened since I was a member on any VFR forum. I got divorced. I went back to college and graduated. I found more lucrative employment. I re-married. Now I am back riding a 2008 VFR 800. It was new old stock when I bought it in July of 2010. It was still in the crate. I flew to the city where the dealer was on a one way flight. After all the paperwork and money changing hands I rode my new bike 270 miles back home. I didn't consider how the hot weather would be in late July. Lesson learned. The next time I'll have a purchase like that I'll have the bike delivered. I have a question that I ask in the mechanics garage.
