Ok folks, I'm looking to get some input and an update on the Gen 6 Honda heated grip kits you folks bought during the group buy with the assistance of Goinphaster.

1.) How easy were they to connect with the instructions being in Japanese?
Rate the ease of installation 1-5, with one being hard and 5 being easy.

2.) Do you like the operating controls?
Rate 1-5, with one being strong dislike and 5 being like very much.

3.) How would you rate the overall quality now that you've had them a while?
Rate 1-5, with 1 being definately not happy and 5 being very happy.

4.) How do you like the range of adjustability?
Rate 1-5, with 1 being poor and 5 being excellant.

5.) How do you like the overall fitment of the kit?
Rate 1-5, with 1 being not happy and 5 being very happy.

6.) Are you glad you purchased the exclusive Honda kit?
Rate 1-5 with 1 being very unhappy and 5 being very happy.

The reason I'm asking you folks these questions is because I'm trying to convince Goinphaster and his buddy in Japan to help out with another group buy for all of us who didn't get in on the first one. If they aren't worth fighting to get a hold of, I'll let it slide if they come back tentative to help. If they get rave reviews, like I think they will and Goinphaster is kind enough to help again, I need to convince at least 3-4 more of you folks on the forum to go in on another group buy. I already have one forum member who is in, so it would be nice to be able to place 5-6 orders so Goinphaster and his buddy aren't wasting their time. The price should be around $160.00 including shipping to the US and shipping from Goinphaster to you. Speak up now!

1A - 4.69  - If you follow the threads, picks, and ask questions via Private Message, its so easy even a Caveman could do it.

2.) Do you like the operating controls?

The new grips are a slightly larger diameter, I like-em. 4. (I'm saying 4 so my wife doesn't get jealous, otherwise 5  )

3.) How would you rate the overall quality now that you've had them a while?
Rate 1-5, with 1 being definately not happy and 5 being very happy.

    It's a Honda part. - 5

4.) How do you like the range of adjustability?
Rate 1-5, with 1 being poor and 5 being excellant.

adjustability? This sounds like lubriciousness... the only adjustment are the heating levels, and they're fine for me. 4.69 :ranger:

5.) How do you like the overall fitment of the kit?
Rate 1-5, with 1 being not happy and 5 being very happy.

    Again, it's a Honda system.. 5 :clap2:

6.) Are you glad you purchased the exclusive Honda kit?
Rate 1-5 with 1 being very unhappy and 5 being very happy.

exclusive=expensive compared to something else... yep... 5 :typing:

Thanks Nozzle for actually replying, It was starting to look like nobody from the group buy was interested in playing - Now if I could just get another 3 or 4 of those guys to resond. I really want a set of these mitt toasters and I was bummed that I missed out. Your answers make it even more so :hurt:.

If I can't get 3 or more guys, or gals, interested in participating in another group buy, I guess I'm going to have to hunt down another source inside Japan for myself and JasonSmith. Thanks again!

I guess I'll do a thread search, find the thread again and PM the rest of the guys and ask them to provide some input.
If we can't get more than just the 2 of us to bite, I'll start looking around for another source in Japan. Goinphaster probably won't want to dick with just 2 sets. Too bad nobody else will step up.......... All right you guys don't make me come lookin' for 'ya!
