All The Gear All The Time, Baby!!! Get busy living(by wearing your gear) or get busy dying(by going without).
ATGATT is one of the oldest acronyms known. It is Latin. Atumvium Trebius Garum Atedio Transit Triumfo. .
BADBILLY!!! Touche! Very clever! (I was listening to GREYBOY this morning...every hear them? Sort of the funky, sassy jazzy thing...great groove.)
I wasn't even thinking of the "Get busy living or get busy dying" when I used the word "obtuse". And Shawshank Redemption is where I picked that word up from.... It does fit nicely though. So I guess I fall in the "Motgatt" category... I wear my Joe Rocket jacket, my helmet and gloves, all the time. but I don't wear, or have riding boots, or leathers. Thanks for the info! You did lose me with the latin reference though....
Do yourself a favor and get some good boots and some pants, leather or textile. I also didn't get the latin reference.
I am a believer in ATGATT, especially after a near zero MPH drop left me with deep rashes on my knee. The scar is especially nasty since it means I have to wear near opaque pantyhose when I wear dresses or skirts. Immediately after I could limp again, I bought an Olympia Phantom One Piece suit. It is water proof, ventilates well in hot weather, and in flouresent Yellow, visible as hell. Boots are nice, too, especially when you crush a toe and wait three weeks for the nail to drop off. Summer sandal season is over, and you are SOL.
