ATGATT for kids/ New mesh jacket for my daughter's birthday

Ever since I got my bike, my daughter has bugged me to ride and other than a ride around the block, I would never take her on the road.
I always told her she had to have gear.

Well, for her birthday she asked for gear; I ordered her a jacket off of EBay and it arrived today:








She also has a new helmet and gloves that I will be getting her soon

Yes, I had the jacket shipped to my job. Buddy of mine has a female HJC helmet that he is letting me borrow until my daughter gets her helmet; she likes pink. I like Red/Honda RED!!

I've been using the bike to take my 13 year old to her activities now that she fits into my wife's gear. It's nice sharing the experience, she's always asking to take the bike.

Now if she comes home on the back of some squid's SS in flip flops some day that's gonna be another story.

 

ATGATT training, early on, may be just the vaccination you need against such future choices. She will see a squid for what he is.

Enjoy your kids while you can. Life is stages and once they are gone they are truly gone.

 

I loved riding with my kids. Too bad they don't want to ride any more.
