Somewhere is near Wilbur Wa. There is a road going in, and a road going out. I think the road going out is smaller than the one going in so I suspect some hanky panky going on in Wilbur where they take arrivals and keep them locked up in the basement of the bar there. Four of us went on an annual ride and Wilbur was our first over night stop for the trip. Three of us crossed the boarder at Sumas Washington and each of us had a different border guard deal with us. Of course they asked us where we were going and each of us said "Wilbur". Each of the guards replied "Where the hell is Wilbur?" We laughed at that afterwards. Also, when we booked into our motel rooms and walked down to the bar on Main street. Everyone looked at us when we walked into the bar. We asked the bar keep how long the bar was open tonight. His reply was until we stopped drinking. So funny. But all joking aside, I love the reception we always get in these small towns in Washington and Oregon.
