So I bought my first VFR (1992 VFR750F) this past winter. Unfortunately, I might have to relocate across the country so I'm trying to decide whether to sell it locally or ship it (or haul it) back east. I'm curious if you guys could give me some feedback on an appropriate asking price for this bike. Here's the description...let me know what you think. Thanks. 1992 Honda VFR750F (Canadian model) Color: Granite blue metallic Miles: 49,540 mi (79,727 km) Work done since January 2015: - tank drained and cleaned - new fuel filter - new spark plugs - new tires with maybe 400 miles on them (Dunlop Road Smart II) - new rectifier/regulator (FH020AA) - valve clearances checked and adjusted (only one intake needed adjustment) - carbs cleaned and rebuilt - carbs tuned and synced by Cycle Metric in Portland - typical maintenance like chain adjustment and lube - fluids replaced (clutch, coolant, oil, brake) - fork seals replaced and fork fluid changed (handles MUCH better) The previous owner replaced the battery this past fall and someone replaced the stator-rectifier-battery wiring (common problem). It looks like the VFRness-type harness. I believe I am the third owner. The bike runs great. It is mechanically sound and 100% stock. I would have no hesitations riding it across the country (especially since the r/r has recently been replaced) and have done several long trips. It is no garage queen. The PO laid it over while turning on wet pavement. The left lower fairing has some rash and cracks. Otherwise it has the typical dings and scratches you’d expect from a 23 year old bike with this kind of mileage and all of the plastic is there and fits correctly (tightly) the way it should. The seat is in great shape and has no tears or rips. The chain and sprockets are in good shape and should be good for a while. Brake pads are good to go for a few more seasons. It has a clear title in my possession.
