Anyone raise there stock bar the 1/8" that it seems you can do?

    It seems if you just loosen the pinch bolts on the stock bars, that they can slide up a bit until they hit the circlips. I know its only a little, but this change would be free?

    Yes. Did mine this way. It's good for me....never had any desire to move to any of the riser clipons. Although I've ridden bikes that ahve them--way too upright for my taste.

    I did that on my '09, as I'm using Heli-bars and the rearward offset puts the master cylinders right above the fork preload adjusters and they would not work any other way but raised on the fork tube. As long as you have the bolt torqued to the correct setting, I don't think it is a big deal. I've had mine this way for a couple of years now.
